Welcome to my first topic !


It's only a li'l clash beetween two emblematics old school hip hop groups !


A deathmatch where the east coast is opposed to the west coast


Run-D.M.C, the symbolic group of N.Y 


VS


N.W.A the symbolic group of the west coast old school G rap


OSL people has only to vote for his favorite group beetween the two ... PERSONNALY, I prefer Run-D.M.C for a lot of reason but N.W.A is my second favorite ! VOTE NOW FOR YO FAVORITE !

Let me be the First to school this newbie! "Oldschool", It's like that, and That's the way it is!! There's No comparing those two groups. We ALL know how this is going to come out..I think I can speak for the Hood, RUN Is the hands down Fav!! No Doubt..NWA??? To much drama within the ranks.. Not enough hits.. better luck next time..

Sorry for this error ( old school ) but I'm not a newbie !


I don't speak english very well because Iam french and I'm only 15 so you have just to close you mouth and your ass


If you think that it's stupid to compare Run-D.M.C and N.W.A you're allowed to do it but you are not alone on this website and you cannot to "represent" the OSL people  because you have not got the necessary intelligence !

EASY Anglo, No Disrespect intended!! It's all fun here.. just ragging on you because you are NEW to the boards. No Need to go tell the big Cheese on me or anything.. Slow your roll. you need to check out how we do here. we rag on each other from time to time but it's all Fun, nobody gets bent out of shape, so don't take it personal it's Oldschool here that's how we do it..

Now about that NWA thing.. Please, there's NO comparing!!

If yo think N.W.A is not good enough for to be compared to Run-D.M.C, maybe you think Public Enemy is able to be compared to Run-D.M.C, I can to exchange N.W.A and P.E ... ( Run-D.M.C vs Public Enemy )

I think the wording is what's killin the hype. you can't "Compare" them to DMC because they're in a different class by them selves as well as NWA, where as DMC, they were straight party and hip-hop, on the ohter hand, you got P.E. and NWA , both groups were out there making statements with thiers..Plus let's look at the history, longevity, style, sales etc. DMC get's the vote hands down. You got to a party and put on NWA, that going to be a short party.. Put on some P.E. and you may have a desent party, But.... You put on some DMC, and you're bound to get some that night for rockin the party.. you don't beleive me? try it... Ask some of the other oldies on the board and they'll tell you.. Look you got 2 groups with TOTALLY different styles, each unique in their own way....

you got the nigg*z with additude, rebellious gangstas who single-handedly put the west coast on top for the early 90's

and you got the Devastating Mic Controllers (D for dirty, MC for mostly clean) who MADE hip hop known throughout the world


both groups did their own thing so its tough to really put them up against each other but i would have to pick Run DMC because NWA would not have existed if the 3 brothas from Queens hadnt taken hip hop to a whole nother level.

I know these two groups are totally different but that's why I compare them...


Oldschool is separated in differents styles and I only wanted to know what style the O.S.L listenners prefer.
